What is and How to Install the Metamask Wallet on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Which is an Ethereum Compatible Blockchain?(Part1)

 

Blockchain developers design crypto wallets to:

  • Allow secure access to cryptocurrencies through a pair of keys: the address that is public and the key that is private.

  • Collect information about the transactions you have made with your address.

  • Technically, it has the balance of each address in the cryptocurrencies that you have acquired.

  • The user knows the transaction and block data within the BNB blockchain (Binance Chain and Binance Smart Chain are united under the name, BNB Chain).

  • The native cryptocurrency is BNB (initial name Binance Coin, current name “Build and Build”)

  • The smart contracts in the BSC network also build BEP 20 tokens.

  • BSC is a blockchain network that allows running applications based on smart contracts.

 

How to install the wallet:

Step 1: We go to the official website Metamask and click to download.

Step 2: Click on Install Metamask, wait ten seconds and then add to chrome.

Step 3: Click on add extension.

Step 4: Wait ten seconds and then click start. Next, if you want a new wallet, select create a wallet. The import wallet option is to retrieve a wallet that you have previously installed and lost.

Step 5: You can accept this step or not, it is informative and optional. It does not affect the installation.

Step 6: Passwords, type a password that is a combination of letters and numbers, that you keep in a safe place or that you remember very well (like an email password), then click Create.

Step 7: Seed passphrase and wallet recovery. Copy it and store it in a safe place (If someone knows it, they will be able to access your cryptocurrencies).

An example of the phrase that will allow me to recover the wallet and my funds:

I have altered this phrase I show because never post your phrase or you will lose your funds.

Step 8: Type the words in the correct order and click confirm. Then you can close the Metamask pages.

Step 9: When you want to show or open the wallet, click the Google extensions icon. Type in the password.

Step 10: Finally, the wallet, with account one having an Address 0x1d51cbDa45ED5ED95C4e2131Db51451DE186A97E and a zero Ether balance, this is due to:

  • That BSC is compatible than Ethereum.

  • The Metamask wallet initially worked for Ethereum.

  • Ethereum addresses are equivalent to those of BSC.

  • Click on account one and get the address.
